I understand the power of being able to relax.
As an introverted homemaker and health and rehab professional, with a background in health, science, and rehabilitation, AND working a hectic 65+ hour job in a health & tech world- I understand the need to come home and relax in a comforting space.
In my research for my degrees, studies, and hands-on clinical practices- and what I found truly works for me and our pets- I have cultivated a standard of a safe and scentsational experience at home. After several years of practice of this candle craft, I have worked to try to find ways to make it affordable for others to have and enjoy the same.
As homemakers, parents, and pet parents, we want our homes to be welcoming, inviting, pleasant, and SAFE.
As professionals- we want a place to call home, relax, and forget about the chaos and hectic environments we experience each day.
This is my efforts to bring a taste of the best of the combination of both worlds- into your home! (PS, check out this study for the importance and care of olfactory activation! )
I have done hundreds of hours of research and practice to bring you what I believe to be the highest quality, safe and non-toxic candles and fragrances available.
Working with my sources and vendors, we have worked hard to cultivate our products to be toxic-free and animal safe and allergy sensitive- all at an affordable cost to our costumers.

Why the name, Cinder and Wick?
Our company started less than a mile from the Black Diamond, WA coal mines and rests in the heart of the coal mining town! We love our community and people in our town, and want to permanently commemorate it and everyone within our business; Cinder is a term for a fragment of incombustible matter left after a wood, coal, or charcoal fire - in honor of this wonderful mining town we call home!
Did you also know? : Black Diamond is another term for coal - which established our town! This term started during the Industrial Revolution due to coal's high value- thus commemorated in our Black Diamond logo!

What started as a fun hobby in 2020, we have strived to practice and execute the best the industry has to offer. Since our humble beginnings of our business in 2024, we have dedicated ourselves to using only the finest ingredients to ensure a clean and non-toxic burning experience. Our candles are handcrafted in Black Diamond Washington, where we meticulously blend non-toxic virgin coconut soy wax with our signature scents. We take pride in using FDA-approved waxes and carefully selecting crackling wooden wicks that create a soothing and comforting atmosphere. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our choice of optimal glass and ceramic vessels, which can be reused or recycled.
